About Nyssa - Located in Preston
Meow! Hey there, lovely humans! I'm Nyssa, the enchanting calico kitten who's as sweet as a dollop of cream but packs a punch like a fierce ninja warrior! Oh yes, I'm a little furball of mischief and magic rolled into one!
You see, behind this adorable facade lies the heart of a true warrior. I'm not just a cute face; I'm a secret assassin among my siblings! Sneaking up on them and pouncing with the grace of a ballet dancer (if ballet dancers were also martial arts masters, of course). I've got moves that'll leave you in awe, trust me!
I live for the thrill of the chase! Whether it's chasing my siblings, my mom's swishing tail, or even my own tail (because why not?), I'm always on the hunt for fun and adventure. Oh, and don't even get me started on my hunting skills - I'm practically a legend in the making!
But hey, I've got a softer side too. When I'm not busy being a whirlwind of energy, you can find me curled up in a cozy kitten cuddle puddle, dreaming of my next epic adventure.
Now, don't get me wrong, I may be a bit skittish around you big humans at first, but once you win me over with treats and those irresistible head kisses, I'm putty in your hands.
I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can reign supreme as the queen of cuddles. A home with one of my siblings would be purrfect, but I'm also open to being the solo star of the show. Just promise me endless playtime, plenty of snacks, and all the love you can muster, and I'll be your loyal companion forever. Deal? Meow-velous!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
