About Hulk
Are you ready for a tiny boy to come into your life - love you huge and hard
Hi I’m Hulk, I am a gorgeous 10 month old Chihuahua who weighs a huge 2.7kgs :-)
(See that, I added my weight so you could work out whether or not I really could fit on your lap – but encase you weren’t sure the answer is yes I can – I can fit on your lap – on your legs, around your neck, at your back… do you get the hint – I like to snuggle!
Do not let my name fool you I am tiny but what I lack in height and size I truly make up for in personality!
My foster family have said that I love my humans and my fur siblings that are at my house – I told my foster mum I was going to put a few ‘conditions’ in – I’ve already discussed the lap business above but second condition is someone who is home more often than not. My dream home would be with someone who either works from home or doesn't work and is a home body.
I am dog friendly and I know it sounds weird for a Chihuahua but I am good with dogs of all sizes but like a true Chihuahua if I meet a new dog I will show them how macho I am with the barking and the performing just to remind them I am tough, big and don't mess with me, but then fast forward 5 minutes and we are best friends
I love to play with toys and all my doggy fur siblings - I love when I get to wrestle with my foster sister who is a French bulldog - she loves it when I jump on her and wrestle.
I am the reigning champion of chasing and catching fly's and moths .................. if it moves I will chase it and defintely in my head I'm protecting you from the zombie's army.
I also love to be carried around and if you really wanted too, you could carry me all day.
I am not cat tested but I would probably love to play with them as well.
I am child friendly but don't want to be picked up and carried by kids - adults i like it to be done with but not kids - I'm small and sometimes they can hurt me.
I am very much an inside dog – snoozing on the couch and sleeping on my human’s bed and I would very much like this to continue, I do however love to access outside as well so I can do my business and just generally be in charge.
I am not great on walking on a lead – still learning all that side of things and not getting distracted because a leaf blew onto the ground, but as I tell my foster mum walking is a social thing and I like to check everything out.
I also love a good blanket sleep – I like to truly cocoon myself in the blanket and sleep the day away!
So if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy who will protect you from the monster I'm very brave just ask me please click on the link and complete my adoption application

Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
