ADOPTION GUIDELINEs
CHILDREN 8yrs+ - SECURE YARD - INDOOR/OUTDOOR -SECURE FENCING - FAMILY HOME MORE OFTEN THAN NOT - Possibly SUITED TO RURAL LIVING.
Raff was surrendered along with another Kelpie after his previous family of 2 adults and 4 young children parted ways. These sweet dogs were just too much for just one to deal with along with the children.
Right now, Raffy needs some 'me' time so we believe the best for him is to go to a family where he will be the only furchild or possibly with another friendly, steady working breed dog.
Poor Raff does not appear to even know how to play with toys and while he has some basic training, he could do with a family that has time to help him emotionally as well as physically as he is struggling with the shelter environment.
Raff needs a re-start, and his new home will need to treat him initially as you would a very young pup - start the training from scratch and then stand back and watch this boy blossom.
The adoption fee for RAFF is $395.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
