Meet Benji!

Benji has been at the shelter for nearly 6 months now! She came in way back in January when her previous owners decided a rabbit was not the right fit for them. Benji grew up in an environment that would make any rabbit a little wary of people, but we have figured out that with a little patience and bribery this smart girl does enjoy a good scratch and absolutely loves to explore!

Like most rabbits Benji doesn't want to be picked up. Her ideal home would be one where she can have the run of a house or apartment with her own little safe space to retreat to. She is perfectly litter trained, and very inquisitive so we have no doubt she would be investigating every inch of her new home. This sassy girl knows what she wants and will let you know! If you let her she will have you wrapped around her smart little paws in no time! If you have an existing rabbit she could with time become friends with them and it may even be exactly what she needs to learn that people can be kinda great.
