About Maya
Introducing Maya, a sweet-natured female Husky Boxer mix with sparkling eyes and a playful personality. Only 14 weeks old, this bundle of joy has begun to showcase her friendly demeanor, winning the hearts of all she encounters.
Maya's heritage of Husky and Boxer means she's a vibrant ball of energy wrapped up in a fur coat of adorable sweetness. Maya loves playful sessions with her littermates, indicating her great potential to get along with other dogs in her new family.
As with all pups her age, Maya requires some basic training to help her become the well-behaved, confident dog we know she can be. She's a smart little girl who is eager to learn and loves interesting, engaging activities. Therefore, she'll benefit from a family ready to invest time in her growth and development, turning the training process into more of an enriching bonding experience.
Shyness is a part of Maya's charm, making her even more endearing. Initially, she comes across as a bit shy, but give her some time, a kind word, and she'll be out of her shell, ready to bestow endless amounts of puppy love. Her timid attributes reflect a gentle, sensitive nature, which makes her even more captivating.
So, if you're willing to give Maya the time she needs to feel comfortable, you'll find a loyal and playful friend in this beautiful furball. Maya is eager to start her life with a caring, patient family who's committed to nurturing her into the fabulous dog she's destined to be. She is an absolute delight that's simply waiting to share her love and loyalty with a wonderful new family.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
