About Mr Fantapants
Mr. Fantapants, or Fanta as he's lovingly called, is a remarkable dog with a story that tugs at the heartstrings. Originally from AWLQ, Fanta has known the joy of adoption but, unfortunately, also the sorrow of being returned. The shelter life was hard on him, prompting a unanimous decision to place him in care for the second chance he so richly deserves.
Describing Fanta in a single word? FANTAstic! This exceptional boy ticks all the boxes for the perfect companion. He's a friend to all, whether they be human, canine, or even feline, showing no interest in cats he's lived with. Fanta is a dream on car rides, crate-trained, walks well on a leash, and is always eager to meet new people. He can enjoy peaceful time alone outdoors without resorting to barking, adores cuddling, thrives on making friends, and is respectful in the home.
However, it's important to note that the concept of 'home' is still quite new and somewhat intimidating for Fanta. His life so far has been more about structured routines within the confines of a shelter, making every day in a home setting an adventure of discovery. Despite these challenges, Fanta's ability to adapt has been nothing short of amazing. He possesses a unique knack for soothing and befriending even the most 'Not Dog Friendly' dogs, sensing and providing exactly what they need.
Fanta's journey of adjustment does include moments of uncertainty, where he may bark if unsure, but he quickly learns to relax once he feels safe. His occasional shadow pouncing acts as a coping mechanism, yet he's easily redirected with a bit of engagement or distraction. Transitioning to a new home environment will be a process for Fanta, requiring patience, time, and understanding from his new family to truly blossom into the beautiful soul he is.
Given his history and heart, Fanta would make an incredible addition to a loving home, whether it be with a single individual or a family with older children. His need for time to adjust and adapt is matched only by the immense love and companionship he promises to offer.
Fanta's tale is one of resilience, hope, and the enduring quest for a forever home where he can thrive. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this FANTAstic boy, prepare for a life enriched with love, joy, and the unparalleled bond of a grateful canine companion. Fanta's second chance starts with you.

Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
