Atlas is a sweet, shy little man who is looking for a calm, patient owner who is willing to go slowly and help him learn all about the world in his own time.
Atlas can be quite worried with restraint and, initially, with close handling, so his new owner will need to be patient and become familiar with his body language.
Once he feels comfortable and safe Atlas will solicit attention and melt into pats! He hasn't shown interest in playing with toys but hopefully when he is feeling safe and settled in his forever home he will learn what they are and be brave enough to play! Atlas may be suited to living in a home with older calm children who he must meet at time of adoption, along with any other dogs in the home.
