Meet Malbec! Brought to the shelter as a terrified little stray, Malbec has been in foster care learning to love people, and boy, did he learn!! He is a beautiful and lovely boy but is finding the shelter life a little scary.

Malbec is a hungry little house hippo whose greatest ambitions are finding something to snack on and chilling out. Sweet and calm, he's a bit shy, but when he finds someone he trusts, he will gladly accept being picked up for cuddles and dancing. Extremely food motivated and clever, it's likely that he could be trained to do some tricks. He would suit a quieter home, as he can get spooked pretty easily.
