About Archie
Meet Archie, he’s a lovable goofball who loves people and other dogs alike .
He’s only just over 12months old and is still not really aware of his size. He will need an active new owner to continue his training and add to his many manners he has already learnt in the short time he's been in foster care.
It's easy to forget Archie is still essentially a puppy so will need guidance and training as any other puppy does.
Archie is great indoors, is house trained and knows how to sit and also stay on his matt when asked. Archie will snuggle next to you while watching Tv while enjoying a belly rub all night.
If you work from home Archie makes a great foot warmer laying on your feet while you work away.
He is crate trained and will happily sleep in his crate at night, but if crates aren't your preferred night time method, he will happily sneak onto your bed and snuggle you all night.
He loves his humans and travels very well in the car, so he would also be well suited to someone who is looking for a wing-man to take everywhere with them.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.

We only consider applicants that have completed our adoption application form. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1) Email and ask for an adoption application to be sent on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com
2) Check your SPAM FOLDER
3) Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form.
4) This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
5) If you are successfully shortlisted, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a time for you to meet the dog in question.
6) A home visit will need to be conducted.
7) Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2-4 week trial period immediately.
8) The adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
9) During the first week 2 week trial period, we encourage you to follow all our instructions to ensure the dog settles into your family structure.
10) If during the trail period you should need any assistance or you decide that this dog is not for you, you MUST contact our state adoptions coordinator ASAP. (The more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available.)
Please note if the decision is made for you to return the dog for you to receive your payment you will, within 10 business days of the return of the dog.
