About Leo. Cat, dog & child friendly!
Handsome young Leo is a darling little boy. Gentle, smoochy, playful and social. For anyone who meets him it's love at first sight, with his sleek profile and gorgeous colouring, but spend a little time with him and you'll soon see that his gentle, loyal, and affectionate personality is what really sets him apart.
Leo is a little shy compared to his siblings but once he knows you he comes right out of his shell and really enjoys the company of humans. He's great with calm, gentle kids and adults alike - cuddle him and hear the purr motor kick in. And be prepared for him to ask for a cuddle at every opportunity 💗
As well as loving humans, Leo loves his kitten siblings so he'll need a home with another friendly cat. He's also been in foster care with dogs and is not phased by them at all.
Kids, cats, dogs, calm but playful... what more could you want in a kitten!
He's a special little guy who is gong to bring plenty of joy to the lucky family who welcomes him into their home and hearts.

ABOUT OUR ORGANISATION
Sunny Days runs Victoria's only specialised stray cat rehab facility. On a rural property in Avalon, Vic, our rehab centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is in constant demand due to the sheer number of cats born wild and dogs no longer wanted.
Despite this demand, we have no source of ongoing funding. Unlike public pounds which enter into contracts with local councils to be the facility responsible for housing lost animals; reuniting them with owners; and sourcing new homes for those unwanted, volunteer-run pounds like ours do not have the option to partner with a government organisation and have the running of the shelter funded - we are left to fund our work through ours, and the community's donations.
You can help continue saving lives by clicking the pink DONATE button on this page, or further options at the bottom of this section. ♡ Thankyou! ♡
💕 OUR WORK WITH CATS:
We take in full cat colonies, pregnant and nursing mothers, ophan kittens, FIV positive cats, and sick or injured cats. Cats are humanely trapped after being identified as un-owned; we don't take in domesticated cats and have extensive processes to ensure cats trapped are true strays as opposed to owned. We don't give cats deadlines to be socialised by or they'll be euthanised, we provide sanctuary for them for as long as they need.
💕 OUR WORK WITH DOGS:
We take in dogs from community surrenders, owned arranged euthanasia's which vets have intervened on, and greyhounds retired from or not suitable for racing. Most of our dogs are with us for an extended period of time to ensure we know them really well before putting them up for adoption, and have been assessed by professional dog trainers if not worked with extensively. We provide full discretion with adopters about dogs' health and behaviour and unlimited, 24 hour support to integrate adopted dogs into new homes, families and lifestyles.
💕 HOW YOU CAN HELP
We receive adoption fees, however our animals are adopted out less frequently than happens at other shelters and rescue organisations as our animals are with us for extended periods of rehabilitation. We rely on donations to keep our animals fed, parasite treated, vaccinated regularly and treated for illness or injury. You can donate by clicking the pink DONATE button on this page, or via the alternate options below. Thankyou for your suppawt ♡
