About Skye 🥒
Skye's gotta fly!
This divine fluffy young lady is thought to be between 12-16 weeks old, and is truly a delight to have around. She loved the company of her female roommate, so it is thought with proper and slow introductions, Skye would thrive with another female piggy friend. Skye loves her friend so much, that if she is away from her mate for a short period of time, Skye will sing out to check on her whereabouts.
Skye came into care pregnant and welcomed her sweet little boy into the world on Sunday. She is hoping to find a family that is ready to take her in three weeks time once her son leaves for his new family.
Skye is rather adventurous and loves the chance to explore. Although, like her guinea pig relatives, she finds security in safety and that sometimes means under your dress/hair/skirt.
Skye enjoys physical contact from her human friends - pats, cuddles and even is ok with kisses. She will wriggle to let you know that cuddle time is over and exploring is back on the cards. When it comes to meal time, cucumber is the biggest winner, along with clover found in the garden (you have the chance to weed your yard and feed your friend!), but also the staples of dark green veges, hay, her pellets and plenty of fresh water.
This gorgeous girl is located in Terrigal on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
