About China
Introducing China!
China is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 3rd January 2024.
China & her sisters were brought in as approx 4 week old orphans who had been found behind a water tank. They didn't appear to have had any human interaction as they were quite fearful with staff & volunteers. Over the last few months they have grown and begun to love humans (especially when they realised we had delicious treats & our cat toys are the best thing they've ever seen) and they have even started falling asleep on volunteers laps.
These girls are now quite social and VERY playful. So far they haven't met a toy they didn't like and their zoomies are hilarious.
China has been socialised with other cats & kittens at the facility and they all get along very well. While they could grow to enjoy being an only cat, we have found that they love being around other cats/kittens. They have more confidence when they're together and we feel they would be more comfortable being rehomed together.
China will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.
China is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for China, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Their adoption fee is $500 for the pair & this includes their desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. They are also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
China & Paris are currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
