About Mikey
Thank you for swiping right!❤️
This matchmaking gig is hard work, the competition is fierce out there.
Yes, you are probably thinking, this dude looks like every other Staffy out there! Yep, and you are right, BUT my story and where I’ve landed is more unique then any of these other run of the mill types.
You can tell I’m a good looking bloke.
And I LOVE the ladies 😉
My carer and I have fallen for each other, but she’s told me right from the get go, it is only temporary, which I get? 😏
One thing about hanging out with her, I can recover from my surgery, yep my manhood has come off. 😫
I’ve been told I’m a real gentleman, really respect my home and space.
I’m allowed to snuggle on the couch and bed! Yippee! 🥳
A little about my background, as much as the team can work out is…
I apparently wandered onto this old blokes property a few years ago and never left. He had to go into a retirement home a week or so ago and I had nowhere to go! He had me booked in for euthanasia! That’s when I became a social media star with lots of people trying to find me somewhere to go, but due to my looks, I was becoming an attraction for all the wrong people.
TOTF were told that a big Doberman X Dane gave me a hiding last year or so, and I have some war wounds on me. I did have a female kelpie that came to visit me a lot and we were fine together.
I have a trainer that has offered to help with the family/person that is willing to give me the loving home I deserve.
I know I’m not little, fluffy and cute but I have the biggest loving heart, and I want people to see past my rugged good looks.
If you are a lover of staffies you will know I’m worth it.
I’m great with kids as well, which is a another tick!
Their is so many people in this team, that are helping to find me my people.

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
