About Edward Scissor Paws
In a quaint corner of the feline world, there resides a spirited soul known as Edward Scissor Paws. This ginger tabby and white wonder, just one year young, bears a name that echoes the legend of another Edward - Scissorhands. Yet, while scissors may not be his tool of choice, he wields his playful paws with an equally captivating charm.
Edward is a cheeky chap, brimming with youthful exuberance, forever on the lookout for a family whose hearts beat to the rhythm of adventure. He dreams of days spent frolicking with older children, his playful spirit matching theirs stride for stride. Though still mastering the art of being cradled in caring arms, Edward is learning that trust blossoms with time.
A darling of mischief, Edward's playful antics may occasionally verge on the rough side, but beneath his mischievous facade lies a heart of gold. His handsome visage, adorned with stripes of ginger and swathes of snowy white, is enough to turn heads wherever he roams.
Not only does he charm humans, but Edward Scissor Paws is also a friend to fellow felines, with a natural affinity for cat companionship. Like his cinematic counterpart, Edward Scissor Paws is a spectacle to behold - a creature of whimsy and wonder, yearning for connection in a world that often moves too swiftly. Yet, within the embrace of a loving family, he finds solace, his playful spirit igniting a spark of joy in those fortunate enough to share in his company.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
