We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Cohen sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

Cohen’s favourite activities are simple joys: playing with his small soft toy mouse, enjoying a good scratch session, and soaking up all the pats you can give. He’s always close by, offering gentle purrs and his soft fur for petting.
He loves being patted everywhere – head, neck, and even his belly – showing his trust and love with every touch. He especially loves collapsing at your feet as soon as you sit down, showing his belly for a pat. His soft purrs and loving gaze will melt your heart every time.
Cohen is looking for an indoor-only, calm household where he can be the centre of attention without the presence of other pets. He’s a loving, loyal, and gentle cat who will bring joy and warmth to your home.

Cohen's vet has advised he might have a grade 2 heart murmur. A full patient history can be provided to Cohen's new home upon request by their veterinarian.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
