About Louie
Louie is a bold yet wary boy with a side of smooch. He delights in vigorous physical play and stealthy exploration of his home followed by deep snoozes in all manner of places (accompanied by occasional little snores).
He is a hearty and unfussy eater but will also eat his fill and walk away from food when he's done, exhibiting no anxious food behaviours.
Lou-Lou's smoochy side grows day by day. This little poppet now leans into head scratches or bongo butt pats when feeling secure, sneaks into his human's bed at night, and sometimes softly purrs (a heart-melting occasion, always). He’s come a very long way from pitifully growling in fear whenever his human came near.
Louie also makes the sweetest trills and chirps as he goes about his kitten business, likely learned from the super-chatty Siamese who’s mentored him. These soft sounds from such a self-sufficient boy, atypical of a former colony kitten, are adorable. He’s seemingly unaware that his little trills and chirps show his soft side and would likely feel embarrassed if he knew, given his tough boy roots.
Louie will bloom in a quiet home with an experienced or confident cat parent or parents who will love and respect his independent nature while nurturing his soft side. A home with another resident cat or cats will also be best for Louie. He loves to have an elder cat to look to for security and for socialisation cues.
It is preferable is Louie has access to a secure outdoor space for fresh air and possible bird sightings to ekk-ekk at.
If you’d love a playful and bold little boy cat who loves a cuddle on his terms and will complement a resident cat, and are up to a slow but deep bonding, Louie is your darling.
