About Chito 🐆
It’s very rare that a Bengal walks through the doors of Rescue….but at just 5mths of age, Chito has found himself in foster care 🥰
This has not been due to any fault of his own…and in his short little life, he is now settling into his 4th home 😢
Chito is exquisite! He is cat social, adores his people, and super active and playful. He will only be adopted into a home who thoroughly understand the breed, have other young social cats and an enclosed outdoor catio. This is not negotiable, so please don’t apply if you are unable to provide him with what he needs….
Because Bengals are an intelligent and curious breed, they need constant stimulation to keep their big brains engaged. They love playing with toys and are also known to love water (especially running water). Bengals can be taught tricks and even trained to walk on leash for outdoor adventures.
Bengals originated from crossing the Asian Leopard cat with domestic cats and their colours and patterns will have you thinking you own a Leopard!
Chito is an extremely affectionate boy, and loves a good snuggle on the couch. He thrives on attention from both his people and feline friends and currently sharing his foster home with 9 other cats/kittens. He’s learning who he can pounce on for a good rumble and who he should leave alone 😂
Bengals are extremely agile and love to climb! They are constantly scouring the house for things to do and do not cope well with being left alone for long periods of time. Chito is very food focused and believes that your food should be shared…with him!
PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH….Bengals are not your typical domestic cat and certainly not for everyone.
He has won the hearts of his foster family, and everyone he meets….
If you understand the breed and can confidently provide Chito with EVERYTHING he needs, we would love to hear from you ❤️
Chito is in foster care in Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
