About Frank
Frank is part of our final Rescue Challenge litter of 2024, and is the last of his litter looking for his forever home.
Frank is the sweetest little dude who will make a great addition to your family. He has spent time daily with Happy Paws Happy Hearts on site, and is a well socialised little dude who is playful, curious, and loves a snuggle after tuckering himself out. Frank would thrive in a home where he can have a canine friend to play with and show him the ropes of life outside of the shelter. He is a quick learner, and is picking up, basic commands like a pro.
From the information we have, Frank's mum is a French bulldog, and his dad is a poodle. Luckily for Frank, he didn't inherit mums nose and has no current or expected health complications with his breathing, yay! Frank is however blind in his right eye, and has limited vision in his left. He has daily eye drops to manage this. He takes the eye drops like a champ, and lucky for his new human, this script can be filled at the chemist and isn't too costly. Despite this, you wouldn't know Frank has this condition, as he gets around fine and is able to play, cuddle, eat, and toilet without issues.
We do notice Frank gets a bit of separation anxiety when left on his own, so he would thrive in a home where someone is home more often than a full-time worker.
MEDICAL NEEDS
Frank is mostly blind in his right eye and has limited vision in his left. He is on once daily eye drops, we are unsure if this will be for life or not at this stage. It will have to be monitored by a vet as he grows.
