About Caragh
SPECIAL NEEDS - VISION IMPAIRED BONDED SIBLINGS
Meet our little cross eyed bauty, Caragh. Caragh was brought into the vets by a family who found Caragh and her brother in their back yard. Due to their size - they needed immediate care. Both kittens have issues with their eyes - little Caragh needs to look upwards and tilt her head back almost as if looking down along her nose - so her eyes can find you. Due to the compromised eye sight, she will need to remain an indoor cat for life. She is extremely loving, and just want to be like the big kitty cats and not babies. They are using the litter and staring their kitten mush journey. 2 little souls deserving of a chance of the love of a family and home to call their very own.
About Darragh - a lovely, loving, cuddly ginger kitten who was found as astray with sister Caragh. Both have issues eith their eyes and sight - and we are looking for a strictly indoor home who would adopt as a pair so they can navigate their new home and lives together. Caragh is cross eyed - Darragh has Eyelid Adgenesis. No eyelids. He is currently on medication drops and his eye have gone from red raw to a nicer clean eye. He looks strange due to the no eyelids. Darragh and Caragh will be returning to the vets for a new assessment and discussions about further treatment and what life may look like. Darragh may lose at least one eye - but cats have lived happy lives without eyelids &/or 1 eye. Both kittens have mastered the kitty litter and love to follow the big cats around the house. In care with a 13 year old boy, these guys are and will be extremely social. Their carer Katrina is happy to discuss and give a warts and all about the pair - but apart from their restricted eye sight - are normal playful and happy kittens.
