About Erra
Meet Erra, the purrfectly adorable one-year-old Tabby queen in search of her forever home!
Hey there, potential fur-ever family! I'm Erra, your soon-to-be favorite feline companion. Neediness is my middle name, and attention is my game. I thrive on cuddles, chin scratches, and all the love you can shower upon me. If you're looking for a kitty who adores being the center of attention, I'm your girl!
While I may be a bit picky about my feline companions (let's just say I prefer to be the sole object of your affection), I make up for it with my boundless energy and playful spirit. Whether it's chasing feather toys or pouncing on catnip mice, I'm always up for a good time.
Oh, and did I mention I'm a bit of a chatterbox? My meows are as melodious as they come, and I'm not afraid to use them to let you know exactly what's on my mind.
Now, let's talk accommodations. I have discerning tastes and high standards when it comes to my living space. The best room in the house? Check. The sunniest window perch? Absolutely essential. I thrive on soaking up those rays while surveying my kingdom below.
So, if you're ready to welcome a loving, active, and oh-so-sassy kitty into your life, swipe right on Erra! Trust me, you won't regret it. Let's create purr-fect memories together!
To book a meet and greet with Erra please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
