About Mia
Meet Mia, a charming young lady of just 16 months. This stunning girl is a German Shepherd cross with an engaging and caring demeanour. She is an enthusiastic and energetic pup who's ready to step into your life with her four paws and loving heart.
While Mia is an absolute bundle of joy, she is still learning the ropes of good doggy etiquette. She will benefit from basic training and lead training where she can establish trust and rapport with her new family. But what better way to create an unbreakable bond than teaching your new furry friend some new tricks? With her intelligence and eagerness to please, she'll no doubt become an obedient and cheeky pup in no time.
Upon meeting other dogs at the shelter, Mia has been choosy about who she will be friends with, so a dog only home is preferable. Mia seems to have a bit of a penchant for chasing cats, so she should be placed in a home without cats or pocket pets.
Show her a treat, and you'll have a new friend for life. This sweet girl also enjoys a good pat and adores being by your side. She loves attention and will take any chance she can get to spend time with you.
Mia can get a bit excited and wanderful when off-leash, but with some persistent recall training, you'll have her running back at the call of your voice. Initially, she might bark when left alone, but this soon settles down. Unknown farm animals can cause her to react, so a home without such animals would be best.
Mia is brimming with potential and love. Her caring nature, combined with your kind guidance, will make the perfect blend for a wonderful dog-human team. If you've been searching for a companion to fill your days with fun, energy, and love, Mia could be the girl for you.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
