Gremlin is the epitome of happy-go-lucky, always wearing a smile on his happy little face.
About: Gremlin's personality shines through in everything he does. He's comfortable, confident, and oh-so-playful!
Gremlin approaches each moment with a sense of enthusiasm that's impossible to resist. His gentle nature and independent spirit make him a perfect match for both first-time dog owners and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
He’s easy-going and friendly and is sure to steal your heart with his infectious love for life.
With his low energy needs and penchant for snuggles, Gremlin is the perfect addition to any loving home.
Ideal Home: Gremlin is not a rough dog & would be best suited to a home that is calm & quiet. From the suburbs to the countryside, Gremlin is ready to make himself at home. He’s not fussed on yard size either, as long as he has a securely fenced yard to explore and play.
As he loves spending time with people it would be ideal for him to be able to have access inside the home too.
Family: This charming doggo is a social butterfly, spreading love and adoration wherever he goes. He adores spending time with people, and his gentle nature makes him a wonderful option for those with children.
Plus, Gremlin's relaxed attitude means he's perfectly suited for those with busy schedules or those who work full-time.
Furry Friends: His dog assessment indicated that he is not dog reactive, but he is uncomfortable around other dogs, there were tell-tale signs which showed that he lacks some confidence when it comes to interacting with other dogs. Our plan is to build up his confidence, and re-test in the near future.
He definitely has potential to be dog social, but this will take time. For now, he is best as only dog for now.
As we cannot test, we are unsure how Gremlin would go living with or meeting cats/pocket pets. This would be up to the direction of his new owners.
Work: Post-adoption training sessions to help him refine his skills and boost his confidence. Training at home will cover your basics, whilst group classes would be a great way to help him hone his social skills and become the best version of himself.
We always recommend post-adoption training whether it be at home or with a professional. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long & is a great way for you to bond with your new pal.
Play: Gremlin is always up for a leisurely stroll or a game of fetch in the backyard. He has low energy needs so will only need walks/exercise from 20-30mins per day.
He walks well, although he may need a little extra encouragement to resist the temptation to pull when other dogs are around. He’s best walked on a flat collar or martingale & lead.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
