Finlee

Hello, I’m Finlee. My name means ‘fair-haired hero,’ and although they’ve got the hair part wrong, I’m most definitely the hero of my own story.

I’m an extremely timid girl, you see. The world is still a bit of a scary place for me, and yet I continue to face it head on, day after day.

With the help of the wonderful Greysland volunteers, I face my fears and am making great progress. I love other greyhounds but started out very nervous of other dog breeds – with support, I am becoming braver and more confident each and every day!

As with other dogs, I may be a bit unsure when meeting new people for the first time.
Slow, gentle introductions are key to my continued heroic development, so I need a quiet and patient furever home where I am loved and reassured when needed. And if you have children, it’s best they’re aged over five please.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
