About Patches
Meet Patches!
This handsome little fellow is a delightful mix of curiosity, energy, and charm and is patiently waiting for his new family.
Described as "a bun full of surprises", no two days are ever the same with Patches. Whether it's a marathon run around the playpen or a leisurely day spent lounging, Patches keeps life interesting and full of laughter.
He's a healthy eater too, loving nothing more than munching on fresh hay and greens. He gets so excited around dinner time that he even does a little "dinner dance". As an added benefit, Patches is also litter trained, making him an excellent house pet.
Like most bunnies, Patches can be a tad timid at first, but he quickly warms up to gentle, slow-motion pats. He needs time, consistency and patience to form a bond with new humans. However, once that bond is formed, you will find a faithful, charming companion in Patches.
Patches is perfect for bonding, as he loves roaming around and is well-socialized with his bunny friends in foster care. He also seems to have a bit of an entertaining flair, enjoying tipping and throwing heavy-weighted bowls or stacking cups around. This amusing hobby of his, combined with his typical bunny antics, makes him a constant source of joy and entertainment.
In all, Patches is a gentle, entertaining, and energetic little bundle of cuteness who is ready to bounce into your life.
Bunnies are social creatures and Patches will most likely need to be adopted with a bunny companion.
Could you be the one to offer this adorable rabbit the loving home he deserves? Give Patches a chance, and he will undoubtedly reward you with a world of bunny charm, laughter, and wholesome companionship.

Adoption details
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a non obligated "Adoption" appointment where all your questions will be answered.
https://blueyalicebunnyrefuge.org.au/book-online/
We will not adopt any bunnies out unless they have met you. They can be sensitive little creatures and we need to make sure that both the bunny and hoomins will be happy with their new match.
Coming to the Refuge for an appointment is the best way to know what bunny is best for your family. We like as many of the family to come out on that day, so you can all sit with different buns to see who you connect with.
This is actually a vital part as it will determine if there are any family members that present with allergies! There is nothing more shattering to anyone than to take home an adored new pet only to have to return them because someone else in the house shows a severe allergy. Mild allergies can be managed but not severe ones!
Please note that there are only some bunnies suitable on their own. Most bunnies will need to be adopted with a companion.
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a "Bonding" appointment where all your questions will be answered.

Of course if you wish to find a companion for your bunny, bring your bun too. Your buns vaccination will need to be up to date & within the last 10 months.
Please note that rabbit bonding only happens at the rescue and we do not allow adopters to bond offsite.
