About Forreston
Hi, my name is Foreston!
I come from a hoarding situation where we were let out into the community.
With this in mind I have a lot to learn about humans and the love they can give me!
I am a cashmere bun which requires a lot of attention to maintain my magnificent coat.
I don’t understand people too well yet but in my short foster stays i really do like being a house bunny…. if you can provide me with some hiding spots and a very slow and gentle approach to handling me I reckon we could be the best of friends in time.
I’m litter trained and love my hay and greens and pellet time is probably my favourite meal of all.
I love to laze about and enjoy watching my surroundings from the comfort of a safe spot.
I’m really hoping the right human can find me and help me adjust to this really safe indoor lifestyle I truly am grateful for but my natural prey instincts are higher than most so if you could please bare with me I promise I’m worth it.
Everyone tells me I’m so handsome do you think I am too? I don’t know what that means but I do enjoy the big smiles everyone gives me when they come see me!
Medical notes
Desexed & Vaccinated
Forreston is a cashere, although he doesnt shed, his coat requires regular brushing and trimming to avoid matting.
Adoption details
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a non obligated "Initial Adoption" appointment where all your questions will be answered.
We will not adopt any bunnies out unless they have met you. They can be sensitive little creatures and we need to make sure that both the bunny and hoomins will be happy with their new match.
Coming to the Refuge for an appointment is the best way to know what bunny is best for your family. We like as many of the family to come out on that day, so you can all sit with different buns to see who you connect with.
This is actually a vital part as it will determine if there are any family members that present with allergies! There is nothing more shattering to anyone than to take home an adored new pet only to have to return them because someone else in the house shows a severe allergy. Mild allergies can be managed but not severe ones!
Of course if you wish to find a companion for your bunny, bring your bun too.
Your buns vaccination will need to be up to date & within the last 10 months.
