Meet Julie! 🐕
PERSONALITY:
Julie is the sweetest of all very playful puppies. Cuddles are what she lives for so you can expect plenty of those. She exudes affection for her foster mum and all doggie companions. While initially reserved around new people, she quickly warms up, revealing her charming nature. A sociable young lady, Julie delights in playing with a huge range of toys and joyfully playing with other dogs big and small at her foster home. She thrives on the company of other dogs, finding comfort in their presence. Once she establishes trust with her humans, she eagerly seeks pats and cuddles after playtime. Julie is currently learning basic training and commands in her foster home. She displays impeccable manners when taking treats, doing so politely and gently.
TRAINING:
In foster care, Julie has adapted well to sleeping through the night in her crate. She has been introduced to a lead for walks, demonstrating her adaptability. She is very eager to get her lead on and get her paws out for door for her new daily adventure. While still working on perfecting her toilet training, she responds well to reminders to go outside. Julie benefits greatly from the influence of other dogs in care showing her the right way to get along in dog life.
PERFECT HOME:
Julie is seeking a patient and loving home that isn't overly busy and with a family or individual that understands that she is a puppy, just beginning her learning journey. Her ideal home should have ample love to share and a commitment to ongoing training. She would thrive in a household with any combination of humans be they single, couple or a family with older children. Most importantly, she needs a full time or occasional doggie mate to be her mentor and companion. Julie is looking for a family that will enroll her in puppy school and provide the necessary exercise and social interaction. Her forever home must include family members who will ensure her needs are met in building her confidence with both people and the broader world.
Is Julie the right puppy to join your family? Do your and your family have the time to commit to daily training, be consistent and repetitive with your training? If you can all honestly say YES to all of these questions then you are ready to welcome a delightful companion into your home. With her playful spirit and affectionate nature, she promises to bring joy and love to your everyday life. Julie's journey of learning and growing awaits in a patient and nurturing environment. If you can offer her the love, guidance, and companionship she needs, you may just find that Julie is the perfect addition to your forever family.
