About Faye
We are assisting Faye's owner in rehoming her- Please contact Adrianna on adapawulska@yahoo.com.au directly with any inquiries about lovely Faye.
Please see below from her owner:
Faye is a healthy, well-behaved, and beautiful tri-color girl with no behavioral issues. Faye is exclusively indoor cat, microchipped and has all up to date vaccinations.
She is located in Abbotsford, NSW 2046.
The reason behind this decision stems from a heartbreaking situation between my two cats, Paige and Faye. They are sisters (both 4 years old) who have known each other their entire lives. We took them from the rescue when they were 3 months old kittens.
Last year, at the end of August, they suddenly had a fight, and unfortunately, this has occurred more than once since then. As a result, we have had to keep them separated, which has been a challenging and emotionally taxing experience for everyone involved. We tried everything to make it work but it won’t.
I believe that after they grew up it was only a matter of time before territorial issues surfaced between Paige and Faye. Despite living in a spacious apartment, we feel confined as we constantly rotate Paige and Faye in the common area to give them time to enjoy the space individually. The situation has become increasingly difficult to manage, and it breaks my heart to see either one of them confined to a bedroom, yearning to be free.
Faye is truly a sweetheart, and it pains me to have to part with her. I am seeking a warm and loving home where she can thrive. Faye is an affectionate, talkative cat who adores the company of people, and I am hopeful that she will find a new home where she can be cherished and loved. I am confident that Faye is well-suited for a family where she can be the sole feline companion.
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
