About Toby
Toby will be most happy if his new home has:
- An energetic family.
- Plenty of toys.
- To have time inside with his family and to sleep inside of a night.
- Activities to meet his energy levels and to keep his brain occupied.
- Most importantly, a desexed, medium or large, very playful dog (not a puppy or older dog) that enjoys vigorous playing.
Toby is an energetic, confident, happy pup and is really curious who loves a good belly rub. His other favourite things are squeaky toy, chew toys and playing with treat toys where he has to work to get the food/treats out.
Toby loves meeting new people and absolutely loves seeing people he has met before; he can get a little too excited and sometimes jumps and puppy nips.
Toby is travelling well in the back of the car tethered to a cargo barrier. As a pup he is walking well on lead and enjoys his walks.
Toby is a smart boy and eager to learn, he knows sit and is learning drop. He is also learning to toilet on command. He is crate trained and happily sleeps there overnight. He is toileting outside with regular access to outside with the rare accidents inside.
Toby is happy outside when his people are out of the home, but loves to come inside to spend time with his family once they return home.
Toby will need to live with another desexed playful dog that is happy for some vigorous play as Toby can be a bit much for a more mature dog. He loves the company of another dog and enjoys playing chase.
Toby could be on the large side of a border collie. We do not know what he is crossed with.
From his foster carer:
- He loves people and other dogs.
- He is still an extremely energetic pup.
- He is toilet trained, crate trained and walks really well on the lead.
- He is happy to play outside when I have to go into the office.
- He is not a barker.
- he is easy to train.
The breed is to the best of our knowledge from the information we've been given.
*PLEASE read the ‘profile’ thoroughly before enquiring in detail.*

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
