About Etsy
This little miss is absolutely adorable! And just to top it off, Etsy has a wonderful personality to match. She is a very sweet puppy with a gentle temperament. She must get this from her mumma who we also rescued. Her mum is such a beautiful dog that her foster carers couldn’t bear part with her as she was everything they could imagine in a dog and has a bombproof nature. We are sure that Etsy will follow along in her mumma’s footsteps and grow up to be a wonderful companion dog for her new owners. Etsy is very affectionate and loves to get lots of cuddles with everyone she meets. There is nothing better than snuggling up in her foster carer’s lap until she falls asleep or curling up in the nape of your neck for a cuddle. Etsy also loves to play. She is fond of playing with her toys and having a romp around the backyard.
Etsy is currently living with one of her brothers and two adult dogs. She thoroughly enjoys the companionship of the other dogs. She plays nicely with the other dogs and looks up to the adult dogs. Being a young puppy, she will require ongoing socialisation with other dogs, preferably in the form of playdates with other known friendly dogs. We expect for Etsy to grow to a larger medium size (around 20-25kg) and be moderately active. She will need daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy and healthy throughout her life.
While in foster care, Etsy has begun her basic training. She has learnt how to sit and is learning how to lay down and walk nicely on a lead. Etsy is a confident and happy girl in her home environment. She is doing well going out and about, enjoying strolls down to the local café and sitting around watching the world go by. Her new owners should continue to expose Etsy to new places and sounds gradually to allow her to have positive experiences and blossom into a great canine citizen. She will also need to continue her basic obedience training and would excel going along to some training classes with you. Etsy is sleeping well at night and working on her toilet training, but this will need to continue in her new home. She travels well in the car and will happily curl up for a nap while you are busy driving. We are sure that Etsy will enjoy tagging along with her new family on outings and fun adventures.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Etsy where she will be an integral part of the family. She would do well in a household with another adult dog who is confident and well-trained so that they can show her the ropes. Otherwise, she could also be an only dog but will need someone home more often than not, at least for a good period of time while she settles in. Etsy should be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. She would do best in a more mature household that is not too chaotic and is young enough to be integrated with other types of pets with the appropriate introductions and training. Whoever gets to make this girl a part of their family will be rewarded with lots of love and puppy kisses!
If you would like to be that lucky family and adopt the gorgeous Etsy, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current household members and the type of lifestyle that she would have with you.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
