Tonka

Tonka is a 4year old desexed male Amstaff.
He came to us as owner recently passed away and the owners spouse is not fit to look after him.
He loves other dogs and is currently in care with 2 other dogs.
Due to size needs to be with children over 8 years of age and dog savvy.
He would suit an active home people that go out walking - but also not left for long periods of time as he not been left for long periods in his previous home so we are not sure how he would cope.
Tonka, is a joy to have around and is like a personal shadow, being happiest when he is with you.

His friendly nature and loving personality will make him a wonderful addition to your family. He would suit children over 8 years old.

Tonkas ideal home would be with someone who works from home, is home more often than not, or can take him out with them when going out. He loves car rides and is the perfect partner at the coffee shop or out for adventures. When out and about, Tonka happily greets new people and dogs and is very social and well behaved.

Tonka loves other dogs and currently has 4 other dogs in his foster carer's home. He loves to play and wrestle with his foster sibling. He would be happy being an only dog or having a fur sibling.

Tonka is obedient and has amazing recall. He listens to directions and wants to please.

Tonka isn't accustomed to being left alone, and needs some time and patience so he can learn to deal with this new adjustment if required.

No experience with cats.
