About Ruby
Meet Ruby, a charming and gentle six-year-old Cavalier lady who is ready to paint your world beautiful with the color of her love. Her affectionate nature and enticing innocence are sure to win your heart.
Ruby still needs some help with the basics of lead and basic training, but she shows great promise. She boasts excellent recall skills, making her perfect for open outdoor spaces. She's compatible with dogs her own size, showing a sense of understanding and respect towards her similar-sized companions. As for cats, she's blissfully indifferent, hardly paying them any attention, meaning a house with cats wouldn't be a concern.
She's a social butterfly within her comfort zone; just give her a little time to warm up to you. A little timid around new people initially, she soon lights up with her infectious affection once she knows she is safe. Given her temperament, she would love a patient and understanding partner who reassures her and gradually gets her comfortable with people and places.
Ruby would love to settle down in a quiet home, where she can enjoy the serenity of her environment. Her peace-loving nature makes her a wonderful companion for those seeking a calm, loving, and beautiful heart encased in fur. She's ready to embark on this exciting new journey and is eagerly waiting for the day she becomes the cherished princess of her own castle!
Medical notes
At the time of desexing, Ruby has a dental under GA with 4 teeth extracted. Regular ongoing check ups 6/12 monthly. No further treatment needed
Ruby otherwise passed her vet check
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
