About Maple
Meet our precious girl, Maple. At five years young, this Cavalier Lady radiates grace and a hint of shyness that makes her all the more endearing. With her gentle eyes and soft fur, Maple captures hearts effortlessly.
Maple may appear quite timid and anxious at first - she takes a little longer to get comfortable. However, once she forms a bond, her trusting and loving nature comes to light. Whether it's spending quality time lounging around or playing a bit coy, Maple's delight lies in a peaceful environment that brings her comfort and happiness.
She loves softly being patted, and her contentment can be heard from her sweet sighs and gentle tail wags. And while her initial hesitance might paint a different picture, Maple is great with dogs her own size! She'd be a pleasant addition to any home that currently has a medium-sized dog who's looking for a calm and friendly mate. Please note, Maple can get a bit scared around cats; she'd be better suited in a cat-free home.
Maple would benefit from some basic training, especially around lead work. But don't let this put you off - Maple is smart and eager to learn, she just needs someone patient to show her the ropes. She's worth it, we promise!
Maple will make a wonderful companion for individuals living in a quiet household. Her delicately introverted personality turns a house into a home, bringing calm, love, and a twinkle of playfulness to your everyday life. So, if a peaceful house and a faithful friend is your idea of joy, Maple is your girl, patiently waiting to step into your life.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
