About Rose - Located in Bentleigh East
Hi there, I'm Rose! Let me tell you a little bit about myself from my own point of view. I may seem a bit shy at first, but that's just because I like to take my time getting to know new things. Once I warm up to you, though, get ready for some serious purring action! Seriously, I've got a motor that could rival a sports car.
I came into this big, bustling world with my brother when we were just tiny little furballs, barely eight weeks old. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I quickly realized that life is just one big adventure waiting to happen. And let me tell you, I'm all about embracing the adventure!
Living with other cats, dogs, rabbits, and even young children, including a lively toddler, has been an absolute blast. I've made friends with everyone in the household, and I'm always up for a good romp or a snuggle session.
Oh, and let's talk about playtime. I am ALL about playtime! Whether it's chasing after a feather toy, pouncing on a ball, or even having a little wrestling match with my own tail (seriously, that thing just begs to be pounced on), I'm always ready for some fun.
And let's not forget about food. Boy, do I love my food! Mealtime is definitely one of the highlights of my day. Whether it's crunchy kibble or some delicious wet food, I'm always eager to dig in and satisfy my hunger.
So, there you have it – that's me, Rose, in a nutshell. Sweet, playful, and ready to bring some sunshine into your life. If you're looking for a furry friend who's equal parts cuddly and adventurous, then look no further, because I'm your girl!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
