About Jack
*In foster care in Newtown, Sydney*
Jack might be tiny, but her purr engine is loud! Though this precious girl has a permanent worried expression, we challenge you to find a happier, more playful kitten in town :)
Sweet Jack can be a little shy on first meeting, but her Bravery of the Ginger is coming on in leaps and bounds! She LOVES her food - often emerging from her bowl with a messy face - and is slowly giving in to how wonderful it feels to being picked up and snuggled!
Like all Maggie's pets, Jack is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be patient with me as I learn the many and varied joys of domestic life! I do like to be around you, playing and hanging out, but I'm still getting used to pats and kisses.
Because I'm a huge fan of company, I'd love a feline friend to bond with - especially if you're out for most of the day.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Like any good kitty I adore a good nap, but when it comes to playtime I zoom all over the place! I love running, and chasing my wand (and sometimes my tail), and I recently discovered the cat tree! I get more adventurous every day!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm pretty gentle, so while I haven't spent time with any kids yet I think older (5+), cat-savvy kids should be a good match!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I enjoy living with the other cats in my foster home, and I think I'd really flourish with another nice cat in my new home to show me the ropes and be my friend.
Dogs might be a bit too scary for me, unfortunately.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
