About Maggie
Introducing Magnificent Maggie!
Maggie is the most lovable girl... she has a beautiful nature and welcomes everyone with a happy hello 🩷
HOUSEHOLD - Maggie would suit a variety of households. She loves attention from her handlers which means she would benefit being involved in her new family's life. She requires time within the family home and opportunities to join her loved ones on outings and adventures.
ON GOING TRAINING - Maggie knows sit and paw but can be a bit distracted at times requiring a treat to regain her focus. She will need on-going work on her obedience but overall is keen to learn and delights in engaging with her handler.
ON LEASH - Initially she can be pulley but settles quickly, most of the walk her nose will be to the ground wanting to investigate every smell she can so not to miss out on anything.
On the long leash, she will either stay by your side or have a roam but continues to come and check on you.
PLAY/TOYS - She loves stuffed toys but they may not last long though, she enjoys the time she has them!
OTHER DOGS - Maggie is a very playful girl with other canines, especially males. She can be a bit mouthy at times but never in a mean way, for this reason a home with small dogs would not be advisable. Maggie would love the company of a suitable canine friend to share her day with.
CATS/OTHER ANIMALS - Maggie will require a home without a resident feline.
CARE/GROOMING - She has a short staffy coat that would need to be brushed regularly and bathed when needed.
Maggie is happy to be handled, loving the attention she receives from it.
EXERCISE - She would benefit from daily walks, having toys to play with and opportunities to sniff in different environments.
BREED - Staffy x - 5 Years Old
NUTRITION - Maggie enjoys whatever food is presented to her. She has no specific dietary requirements.
Maggie is located at our Erina Shelter and her $500 adoption fee covers - Microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments.

Adoption details
Dogs and cats come microchipped, lifetime registration, desexed, vaccinated and with a 14 day health & trial period warranty (please note that SoCares reserves the right to conduct home and yard checks prior to adoption).
DOG ADOPTIONS: We like to make sure all dogs and their new family (human and four legged) are a suitable match so if you have other dog/s we always book a meet and greet at a time suitable for you to ensure they will get on.
