About Pickles
Pickles is stunning. He looks like a Turkish Angora. He’s a smooch. He’s a talker. He’s playful and he is gentle.
Strikingly good looking and super playful, Pickles is such a character. He will knock things off the table almost with a grin 😁
Pickles is great with kids, he loves being read bedtime stories and is super patient and gentle. He doesn’t mind dogs at all and indifferent to other cats (given correct introductions)
He loves humans and loves to be where you are. Snuggles in bed guaranteed!
Medical notes
Pickles often drags his left hind leg behind him as he walks - or runs! X-rays have shown no abnormality and our vets think it is neurological.
This may develop further or may clear. We have been told it’s doubtful it will progress however there is the possibility it will. There is also the slim possibility he will need his leg amputated if it worsens.
His walking is likely due to a past trauma or congenital and he knuckles his toes. His toes do get scraped. Chat to us further about his condition - innercitystrays@gmail.com
Pickles must be an indoor only cat due to his leg and due to his white coat which would be prone to skin cancer. A home with no staircases is preferable
The boy also needs brushing. His fur is divine but he will shed!

Adoption details
Our adoption costs cover microchipping, desexing, up to date vaccinations to time of adoption.
All cats over 6 months will have had a FIV test.
All cats are desexed before adoption.
We offer a minimum two week trial on all cats. We will refund the adoption fee and take the cat back within this time frame if the adoption does not work out. We provide assistance throughout this period and have an Adopters Club on Facebook.
We do not adopt out single kittens to busy households with no one home all day.
If you are a busy household and after just one cat please consider a juvenile or adult.
Kittens are very social and require company - if the family is out at work and school all day long - it’s just not fair on the kitten.
We adopt to indoor only homes. We put so much work into saving our fosters lives we cannot risk them being hit by cars in an outdoor environment.
We ask interested adopters to please fill in a short application and attend a meet and greet before committing. We want to ensure the cat is the right fit for you.
We do not transport kittens interstate. Sydney only please.
