About Hera
This small and chubby girl is the sweetest and most gentle, well-natured wallflower. No matter how scared she is, it never occurs to her to hiss or swat.
Hera was rescued from the streets and when she first came to us, she spent the first few weeks hiding under her bed. It took some months before she became confident enough to roam the house, play with us and sleep at the end of our bed. Hera is desperate for a home where her humans understand that this is a big scary world and she is a shy and delicate wallflower.
Today, she loves: sleeping at the top of her cat trees, playing with her with a cat teaser with you, sleeping at your feet and eating. Sometimes she comes and sleeps on her carer's desk, during the day, when they work. She also adores pats and chin scratches.
When she is feeling particularly feisty, she runs into the bathroom when you are having a shower to attack the bathmat. She still has a bit of a fear instinct in her when humans approach her when she is on the ground, so she prefers to be elevated when you approach.
Hera has a big ask: for a small and quiet home where her humans will be understanding that it may take some months for her to be comfortable in her new home and they may need to work with her to build confidence.
Hera is in care with many cats and just loves other cats, so would be fine in a home with other cats.
