Meet Moa, one of the adorable Maori birds litter.

She has a beautiful black velvety coat with white socks.. Moa and her siblings have proven themselves to be one very smart litter of pups! In the short time span of a few minutes; a few times a day over three days; Moa has learned commands sit, come, paw and drop with great enthusiasm and is continuing to learn.

Toilet training was initiated in her first foster home, so when she recently came to her new home, she had already grasped the concept of toilet outside when the door from one room access was left open for her to come in and out as she pleased.

Moa loves other dogs and likes to pester them for attention, so furry siblings will need to be patient and tolerant with her as she finds her way.

Moa has shown great adaptation skills coming from one foster home to another. She can act like a cautious little scaredy cat to begin with, but once she feels comfortable with her people in her environment, her adorable and lovely nature shines . One minute she can be sitting happily frolicking with her siblings, to then find her comfortably sleeping on her back in her hammock bed. Moa can be hilarious to watch when she fully grasps new commands. She calmly sits and listens to commands, and once she grasped the concept; will enthusiastically show you over and over again or go through the commands she’s taught until she has your attention.

Moa will do great going to a home that can give her some space to get her accustomed to her new surroundings, and to continue with training to keep her smart active brain learning new things.
