About Penelope - Located in Eltham North
Oh, hello there, lovely humans! I'm Penelope, the smoochiest little girl you'll ever meet, and let me tell you, I've got cuddles for days! 🐾
Picture this: you walk into the room, and before you can even blink, I'm right there, running up to greet you with purrs and headbutts galore. I just can't resist showing my affection, especially when it comes to my favorite humans!
After a busy morning of tearing around and chasing after toys, there's nothing I love more than snuggling up on your lap for a nice afternoon cuddle session. It's like my own little slice of paradise, nestled in the warmth of your love and affection.
Now, I'll admit, I can be a bit shy when we first meet, but it doesn't take long for me to warm up and show you my true colors. Once I do, get ready for a lifetime of love and companionship!
But here's the twist: I've got a unique quirk that sets me apart from the rest. You see, I have this fascination with sitting on shoulders. Yep, you heard me right! Whether it's to play with your hair or simply take a cozy nap, I just can't resist perching up there like a fluffy little parrot.
With my gorgeous looks and heart of gold, I promise to bring you endless joy and happiness. So, if you're ready for a lifetime of love, snuggles, and shoulder rides, look no further than yours truly, Penelope! Let's make memories together that'll warm your heart for years to come. 🌟🐱

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
