About Rhea Silvia
Meet Rhea Silvia, a majestic black Domestic Medium Hair (DMH) cat with an independent spirit and a heart of gold. Despite her sleek and mysterious appearance, Rhea Silvia is a loving companion to her human family, showering them with affection and loyalty. Born with a regal demeanor, she prefers the company of humans over other feline companions, asserting her preference with graceful authority.
Named after the legendary mother of Romulus and Remus, Rhea Silvia's maternal instincts shine as she nurtures her kittens with unwavering devotion. Her offspring, Romulus and Remus, inherit her striking personality, ready to embark on their own adventures in search of loving homes.
Rhea Silvia's journey is a testament to resilience and love, overcoming challenges with grace and dignity. Though not a fan of sharing her space with other cats, she thrives in an environment where she can be the center of attention, basking in the affection of her human companions.
As her kittens, Romulus and Remus, take their first steps into the world, Rhea Silvia's hope is to find a forever home where she can continue to spread her warmth and companionship. With her captivating presence and unwavering love, Rhea Silvia is more than just a cat - she's a cherished member of the family, ready to bring joy and comfort to those fortunate enough to welcome her into their lives.
To book a meet and greet with Rhea Silvia please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
