About Buddy
Introducing Buddy, a lively and sweet-natured Maltese x Poodle mix who just turned 15 months old. This charming boy loves good company, showing his affectionate side with those he trusts and adores.
Buddy walks well on a leash and is fueled by the desire to explore new smells, parks and trails, making daily walks an enjoyable adventure for both him and his owner. Sharing a strong bond with his brother Richie, Buddy truly thrives in his sibling's company. It would truly delight Buddy to find a loving home where he can stick around with Richie and explore everything life has to offer together.
While Buddy may be small in size, he carries a big heart. He seems to get along well with smaller dogs but can be a bit timid around larger breeds. When it comes to cats, he remains indifferent, proving to be a peaceful and non-aggressive pet.
Everyone who meets Buddy falls in love with his incredibly affectionate nature. He relishes long sessions of pats and scratches, showing his gratitude through endless soft licks and wagging tail. Also, his soft, fluffy coat is a testament to his Maltese x Poodle genes and will surely win your heart over.
Despite being a bit anxious initially, Buddy doesn't take long to break out of his shell and show his brilliantly cheerful and friendly nature. He's quite the people-pleaser and adores having constant interaction with his human companions.
To give Buddy the best care, he would appreciate a peaceful home with no large dogs, where he and Richie could feel safe and loved. So, if you've got ample room in your heart and house for Buddy and Richie, you could be the perfect match for these handsome, fluffy buddies. Buddy is all set to wiggle his way into your life with his love-loaded brown eyes and unwavering loyalty.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
