About Frank
Hi Im Frank, yes you already know me as I was adopted out before. It was really good and I totally loved my human mum to bits and she loved me to. I had two fur sisters but each time one got really playful I was frightened and would have a grump at her. Ive been told this is probably from my past where I was attacked many times by the other dogs and owners. So, to help me into a new home my human mum wrote me a profile which we will share here.
Frankie is just full of love for everyone.
He loves to be with you whenever he can whether in his bed beside you on the floor when working, on the couch or even in bed.
He loves walks, tennis balls and pats. Hes so happy to see you when you get home. Hes so happy to see you in the morning, hes so happy at breakfast and dinner times, hes so happy just hanging out with you, hes so happy to meet new people of any age...hes a happy boy who dances when really happpy and will always shake before dinner.
Hes well mannered, kind, loving, sweet, obedient and smart dog. Loves like a staffy and smart like a heeler. Great with kids (ours aged 8plus).
He has big eyes that draw you in and show you what hes feeling. Hes also good at sensing the tone and will follow your lead on what to do (relax, play, nap).
Walks well on lead. Can occasionally tug or pull if something catches his attention such as kangaroo or another dog. Was happiest on a long retractable lead. Loves to smell things as you go. And smile up at you.
Good fences are required as he managed to get leverage on 2 wooden rails but did not escape the ring lock fence yard. He may occasionally bark when left in the yard alone to let you know hes there. He was trustworthy inside the house.
He can be jealous and wary of other dogs. Frank has a couple of triggers when it comes to other dogs, excitement or energetic dogs.
Frank is most relaxed when with his human buddy. Loves car rides. Can be excitable when first meeting someone but that settles quickly and he knows the word "no".
No accidents inside, he always went outside. Frank loves his tucker. Everyone who met Frankie fell in love with his loving gentle soul. Hes a very special guy who's looking for a human best mate to hang out with.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
