Can you believe that this hunky man has never left is previous homes property in his whole life?! Considering this, Toucan Sam is a wonderful, happy, well-adjusted man that is looking for adventure and new experiences.

Sam is a large-breed Staffordshire Terrier x Rhodesian Ridgeback, so he is not for the faint-hearted. Sam is 30 kilos of pure stud-muffin energy. As Toucan Sam has had minimal life experiences so he will need a family ready to show him the ropes - if you adopt him you will be sharing all your 'first' experiences together! Beach trips, hikes, strolls around the neighbourhood - it's all a new adventure!

Due to Toucan Sam's limited life experiences, we would recommend this boy live with secondary aged children and above - he is a big boy that sometimes does not understand his own strength. He will need to be the only dog in his new household, as he can be a bit unsure around other doggos when he first meets them.

Toucan Sam absolutely loves treats - and just like his namesake he "follows his nose, wherever it goes". Sam loves treat dispensing toys and puzzle games where he is rewarded with high value food such as liver treats. Using reward-based tools like this will ensure Sam's young mind stays active and engaged.
