About Skooter
Introducing Skooter, an intelligent and highly sociable canine companion who never says no to a fun game of foot wrestling or a cuddling session. His cheeky, active soul will keep you thoroughly entertained, and his loyalty to his human friends is simply heartwarming.
Skooter can light up a room with his playful antics and boundless energy, but he also loves nothing more than to be a cuddle bug. He has a charming way of showing affection, whether it's through his lick attacks, tail wagging, chirping, or lovingly following you around the house. One sight of him holding onto your arm with his cute little paws, and you're bound to be all smiles.
Now, let's talk about his favourite things – he's a bit of a social butterfly. He adores spending time with other dogs, especially those up for a good romp. He also enjoys running and engaging in some wild couch parkour! Spoiler alert: Skooter can be a bit of a toy destroyer, especially when it comes to stuffed or rope-based toys, so he just needs a watchful eye when it's playtime.
Skooter's day is well-structured, starting with early morning toilet breaks, followed by walks, breakfast, playtime, and naps. He's comfortable spending time in his crate during his humans' work hours, with regular breaks and a maximum of 4 hours at a time. He enjoys following his humans around the house, indulging in a light lunchtime snack, and winding down in the evening with a walk or indoor play, dinner, and cuddles during TV time. Finally, he relishes a slow brush as a wind down before snuggling up on the couch for a peaceful night's sleep.
Skooter would thrive in a calm home with outdoor access and canine companions. He is great with school-aged kids and would be great in an active household where humans are frequently available. Experienced owners who can provide him with ample attention and interaction, as he tends to become restless when left alone for extended periods. Quick to learn, he enjoys new tricks and commands and would appreciate consistent reinforcement due to his spirited personality.
Skooter is a lively and loving pup searching for a family to be the perfect canine sidekick, bringing companionship, laughter, and many precious memories.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
