About Fred Astaire
Meet Fred Astaire, the cat who will inspire you to hum tunes and dance through your day. This sweet fella is full of affection and would be the purr-fect addition to your family.
Fred Astaire has a versatile personality; he equally enjoys being held and receiving endless cuddles, as well as independent exploration. His playful spirit is contagious - you will find yourself laughing at his antics as he embraces a game of indoor soccer in your living room, darting and ducking with his favourite toys for his (and your!) amusement.
He also possesses a unique capability, adjusting seamlessly from being an only cat or blending into a family with existing pets. His temperament is such that he has no qualms being in the company of dogs and other cats, treating them as part of his family in true Astaire style.
If you're searching for a charming, playful, and affectionate little companion who will make you smile and warm your heart, then Fred Astaire may be your perfect match. Don't miss out on the chance to dance through life with this wonderful boy by your side.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
