About Lizzy
Swaying tails and warm greetings, meet Lizzy, an adorable and sweet-natured canine who's bursting with love for life. Lizzy’s mix of charm and playfulness will fill your days with endless joy. With her infectiously upbeat personality, it's impossible not to fall in love with her!
On walks, Lizzy has a habit of dashing from side to side on the lead behind you but rest assured, she doesn't pull. She knows how to behave on a leash whilst making the most of her surroundings. Remarkably, she has a good recall and comes when called most of the time, which is a testament to her intelligent nature.
Lizzy has been excellent with dogs her size, although larger ones do make her a bit nervous. Incredibly, she has shown no problems with cats during her stay with us, but our cats here at the shelter don't run.
Her true pleasure, however, lies in her love for people. Lizzy is a confident, outgoing, and bubbly character who enjoys drawing everyone in with her love and boundless energy. She loves to be with you, whether it's running around in the backyard or cozying up for some quality relaxation. Lizzy loves sitting on your lap, fitting in like a perfect puzzle piece as she soaks up all the pats and belly rubs.
In conclusion, we can't say enough about Lizzy – her resilience, her joy, and her knack for making anyone's day brighter simply by wagging her tail. If your heart has room for a lovable, bouncy, and devoted pup, Lizzy might just be your perfect match. She's ready and waiting to step out of the shelter and into the loving arms of her new family. Don't miss out on welcoming this incredible dog into your life—you'll be rewarded with endless affection and a faithful companion.
Medical notes
Lizzy has passed her medical but has a non reducible umbilical hernia - monitor.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
