About Milo
Milo, a sweet and affectionate lagotto in need of a patient and understanding home.
Milo is initially reserved with new people but becomes a delightful companion once he trusts you.
Milo thrives in a quiet home with a good-sized backyard where he can run and stretch his legs. He loves outings to the local park and is content to relax for the rest of the day. While he can be nervous in new surroundings, he is curious and friendly with other animals, showing little interest in birds and seeming fine with cats.
This bouncy lagotto enjoys the company of other dogs and would be happy as an only dog or with a calm, confident companion. He gains confidence from other dogs and will follow their lead. He is seeking a calm home with kind people. He is to bouncy for the elderly or small children.
He prefers to be inside with his family and would benefit from someone who is home often. Milo is well-behaved when left alone and enjoys being a comforting presence, even sleeping by your feet while you work from home.
As a typical lagotto, Milo loves water and enjoys a paddle when given the chance. While he doesn't shed, he requires regular grooming and clipping every 8 weeks to prevent matting. He loves to run and it clearly brings him pure joy! He always has a huge smile on his face when offlead at the local fenced park.
This lovely boy hasn’t had a great start to life, but he is ready to be a great friend to his humans now!
