About Pearl
Pearl is a very energetic and playful pup!
She loves playing with toys and needs lots of stimulation through the day to keep her busy and out of mischief
She is a typical puppy and hasn’t had a lot of training so far, but has learnt a lot in her short time in care. Plus she gives the best cuddles which makes up for any cheeky behaviour.
Pearl is still in the process of toilet training; she mostly goes on her pee pad but does still have small accidents inside.
She is generally good on the lead (especially as it’s new to her) but is still learning not to yell at everyone she passes.
She is reactive to new people and dogs, and would not be suitable for a home with small children as she is very frightened of them.
Once she trusts you, you will have a cuddle buddy for life
Pearl may be 2kgs but she has a very loud voice. For this reason, she would not be suited to being left alone for long periods while she continues her training
Pearl thrives on routine so would prefer a quieter home with not to much foot traffic.
She loves playing with and cuddling her chihuahua foster siblings and would really benefit from having a friend or two to play with, however she does have a big personality and doesn’t always know when other dogs are done with playtime.
Being a puppy she is still learning her boundaries with other dogs and has not been tested with cats.
With the right home and training Pearl will continue to grow in confidence.
She is a very sweet and loving girl, and will be a great addition for the right family.
Medical notes
11 month old Pearl has been desexed and microchipped. She is up to date with her C5 vaccination (due again in January 2025). She is also up to date with flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
Pearl’s patellas are stable, and her teeth look fine although she is missing 7 (confirmed with dental radiographs).
Overall, a healthy young girl.
