About Pippa
We are delighted to introduce to you one of our new dogs into Rescue - the wonderful Pippa.
Pippa came to us from a regional Queensland pound where she and her sister Willow were due to be put to sleep. The girls were born and raised on a cattle property and sadly the owner passed away, leaving nowhere for Pippa and her sister to go. They were surrendered to a pound who contacted us and we couldn't say no.
From they moment that Pippa came into our care you could see that she was a friendly, happy dog that got along well with all the other animals at the foster family's property. But we also noticed that because Pippa is used to a working farm, she is always looking for something to do, a job to complete, a direction or instruction to be given. Because of this we believe Pippa will be looking to run and work and be involved in some type of job. That may be agility or sheep herding or obedience, but she will definitely need an outlet for all of her intelligence.
Pippa gets along very well with other dogs and other humans. She doesn't react to any of the other animals on the property. She will need ongoing training on her collar / harness and leash and we think she may be better suited for a larger property. She does like to play and run and chase her other furry friends.
If you think Pippa might be the girl you are looking for please send us an application.
