About Diesel
Meet Diesel, a charming French Bulldog looking for his forever home.
Are you ready to welcome an adorable, love bug and loving companion into your life?
This pint-sized dynamo is as unique as they come and is sure to steal your heart.
Diesel is a 3 year and 7 month old French Bulldog who has come into care as a ex-breeding boy and is now ready to start his new life with a family that will adore him.
Diesel embodies all the quirks and charm that come with being a typical Frenchie. As a typical Frenchie he can be loving boy, stubborn, sweet and always ready to melt your heart with his love and companionship. Diesel is a typical ex breeding boy who is learning about being in a family home and absolutely loves attention like nobody's business.
His heart is huge and his personality is really starting to show - a love bug wanting his family!
Diesel is happy to meet new people and takes new encounters in his stride.
Diesel might have started his journey into learning life & obedience skills a bit later than most, but what he lacks in experience, he makes up for in willingness (ha ha ha he's a Frenchie who are we kidding, he can be stubborn at times, but when he wants to, he's a quick learner, and eager to please. He's a work in progress, and with a little guidance and routine, he will continue to grow into an even more incredible companion.
Diesel is absolutely adoring his daily walks and loves to meet people and other dogs as he explores the world. He is walking well on a lead and whilst his owners will need to remember as a Frenchie certain hours / days are not good for walking he will happily walk at night or when a good time is for him
Diesel is learning how to play with toys and sometimes will run a competition with himself on how quickly they can be destroyed other times he is very gentle and enjoys playing. A squeaky toy is his latest favorite.
Diesel will need a slow feeder bowl or he will hoover his food in .02 seconds.
Diesel is a lovely gentle boy who has been great with kids - except has been known to put French Bulldog eyes at them for treats.
Diesel is dog friendly and has been tested around many dogs - unfortunately as he's an exbreeder he does like to hump other dogs but we have been working on that with him, at the moment he is in a carers home with no other dogs while he recovers from desexing. Ideally he would love a home with another dog but it would require a on going reminders to Diesel to not hump.
Diesel is not tested with cats.
Diesel is extremely affectionate and would love to be part of a family that will really allow him.
As Diesel spent his life penned before coming into care we have had to work on his toilet training and he is about 95% there and can use a doggy door.
Diesel is still learning this business about being an inside dog and will often be found snoozing outside regardless of heat :-(. However a family that will work with him being inside (and perhaps another dog to teach him to couch potato would be ideal)
Diesel did spend his first few days in care testing different pieces of furniture in the carers house but that is now easing up as he gets used to being left alone inside.
If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and spirited companion who will brighten every day of your life, Diesel is the one for you. Help him continue to learn and grow, and you'll be rewarded with a lifetime of unwavering love and devotion.
Don't miss the chance to bring Diesel into your home and your heart. He's waiting to become a cherished member of your family. Reach out today to make Diesel a part of your world.

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.

Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
